After the studying is done and the bellies are all full, you get to the weekend and the choices come up again as to where to go out for the evening for fun with friends. Downtown Flint offers such a wide variety of bars and pubs for students to have a place to unwind and catch up with friends. There are jazz bars, bars with live local bands, karaoke for the brave among the group, and even a few sports bars.
A favorite for the on campus students would be the one and only Churchill's. With the past year being a little rocky with the kitchen being repaired, Churchill's still kept things alive with live bands and a great intimate environment for nights full of enjoyable company.
A great night of food and the game can be had at Blackstone's Pub & Grill. This lively pub is a great place to hang out while being able to keep a close eye on the score.
If you are looking for the perfect place to hang out with an excited group of friends the place to head over to is The Torch. This is a low-key bar a little farther away from campus, but still offers for a perfect night to be with those closest to you.
So if you are looking for that wonderful night out on the town with the group there are still choices to be had and there is no need to get stuck in a 'where should we go?' rut.
